SAFE CALL is a great system that provides reassurance when you have to go out and meet someone on your own.

 

It costs just £1 a week and uses mobile phone technology.

Anyone feeling at risk can log in to SAFE CALL and say where they are going, who with and how long they will be. If they fail to log out after the specified time, the alarm is raised.

  • Out with clients (perhaps an estate agent)

  • Delivering money or valuables

How does Safe Call work?

  • You receive PIN number and a designated telephone number.
  • Vitaline takes personal details like your description and type of car you drive
  • We will also take details of who to contact in an emergency
  • When you arrive, log in with the PIN and follow voice prompts in order to tell the system how long the visit should take
  • On leaving the address, dial into the system and log out or, if the visit is taking longer than expected, extend the time

If you fail to log out the system will automatically call you. If you do not answer, the system switches to emergency mode and appropriate action is taken.
